PERFORMANCE AND RESULT
ACTION PLAN FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE PART-I 01.Paramount importance will be for quality education in classroom teaching learning process. 02. Efforts will be made to develop skill of learning to learn in our students. 03.To make the classroom teaching effective meaningful, interesting, interaction with challenging exercises will be taken. 04.It will be mandatory for every subject teacher to use adequate audio visual aids, conduct activities and practicals in the classroom and the laboratories. 05.Thrust will be given on concept based teaching on revisions, identifications of learning difficulties and factors related to them. 06.The student’s week in studies will be identified, sufficient diagnostic and remedial measures will be taken up to motivate them to come up to the desirable standard. 07.The language capabilities and numerical abilities of such students will be developed 08.Care will be taken that no time is wasted in between two periods. Each teacher will maintain his dairy and daily teaching records. 09.Suitable remedial measures will be taken by the subject teachers to guide the identified the low achievers. 10.It will be mandatory for the subject teachers to teach one period every week in each allotted class through computers with proper planning. 11.Thrust will be given to develop the art of oral and written expression in our students. Each child right from class-VI will be trained to know how to write well in examinations. 12.Supervision of classroom teaching of every teacher and every class will be ensured effectively followed by suitable suggestions for improvement. 13.The issues of effective teaching-learning process, testing and evaluations will be discussed in staff meetings. 14.Proper interaction with the students and parents about achievements in subjects. ACTION PLAN FOR ZERO FAILURE PART-II 1 Completion of syllabus including practicals even by allotting additional period after school hours to the subject teacher- By 30th November2005/latest by 10th Dec.2005 will be ensured. 2. Acquainting students with the previous CBSE Exams/Annual Exams. Q.P. pattern, distribution of marks for each area and marks for short and long answer questions. 3. Intensively preparing students with appropriate supervision and guidance for all exam – units tests , First Term or Pre Board Tests. 4. Full importance to child centered , interactive class-room teaching with optimum use of teaching aids like OHP, Slide projector , audio aids, computers, internet and other ready made or collected articles. 5. Regular checking of note-books, Homework and class work of students with proper pin-pointed guidelines or instructions to improve . 6. Revision of chapter in which children are found week from 11th to 30th Dec.2004. 7. Remedial programme for low achieves – subject wise and class wise is to be taken up seriously . Proper documentation should be maintained in fortnightly or daily dairy by subject teachers. 8. The areas of remedial teaching are to be identified on matrix followed after each exams for suitable follow up action. 9. Model answers should be given by subject teachers in each topic or chapter. 10. Monthly /fortnightly or weekly meetings are to be conducted to ensure coverage of syllabus , proper progress, review of classroom teaching – inspections regularly to monitor to gradual progress. 11. Principal is to motivate students , teachers for hardwork with single mindedness . But the students should be de- stressed for happy progress. Supervised studies should be arranged regularly. 12. Subject teachers of English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology should be attentive for clear understanding of the basic fundamental concepts which are built-up successively for higher applications. 13. After the courses/syllabus is completed regular practice sessions for solving problems and speed writing and regular drilling of question papers and question banks should be arranged in an organized way. 14. First Term exams, First Pre–Board test, Second Pre–Boards Tests should be conducted in December, January and February respectively. 15. Full length practice tests should be conducted for all classes and particularly Board Classes upto 10days before the final exams. 16. Children should be trained for the time management. 17. All the students should be encouraged to have their own sample papers/model papers in all subjects. Besides arrangements should be made for model or sample papers in the school library. 18. Students should be motivated to follow tight schedule from early morning to night (10.30pm.) for on average 8 hours daily for self study daily apart from class room teaching. 19. After First Pre–Board Test, Students should be divided in two or three group as per their performance or achievements for special coaching to score higher marks i.r.o. high achieves and pass marks for low achieves. 20. Weekly action plan should be prepared by subject teachers for intensive revision and regular practice during January and February. 21. Students should be trained for indirect question with inter connecting of concepts 22. Subject teachers should prepare capsules of selected questions (to 60% easy chapters ) to ensure seemly at least 50% marks by each students. 23. Weekly unit wise and consultative tests are to be conducted for subjects like English, Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology , History & Economics. 24. Library facility should be extended for maximum hours. 25. Display of performance in tests to students and parents is also important. 26. Principal is to conduct meetings with students to maintain regular interactions with them for encouragements. 27. Conducting meetings with parents will also help to motivate and encourage students. 28. Maximum attendance (at least 90%)will be maintained by students.
